Infant and Child CPR and First Aid
Would you know how to act in an emergency requiring first aid if a child or an infant were involved? Infant/Child CPR and First Aid is a practical course no parent or caregiver should be without. This five-hour session provides information on CPR and first aid for infants and children up to age 8. The CPR part of the program is based on American Heart Association guidelines, and provides information and instruction in proper CPR techniques and choking prevention. Additionally, this program is certified by the National Safety Council to examine childhood injuries and to help parents and caregivers treat children calmly and confidently during first aid emergencies. Some of the topics covered are burns, falls, poisonings, bites, motor vehicle safety and toy safety. One workbook per family is included.
